A Chance to Inspire and Influence

Over the years I have been very active in donating my time, treasure, and talent to help develop tomorrow’s leaders through my involvement with DeMolay International. Well, on Monday evening, I embarked on a new adventure to help shape future interior, and hopefully dental office designers. I have started teaching a class as an Adjunct Instructor for The Art Institute of Indianapolis. I am teaching a class on Furniture and Cabinet Design. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with these future designers and helping them learn how the design of furniture impacts their overall design projects and their clients’ end results. In a dental office, especially, it is critical that the proper furniture be selected to meet the rigors of an active dental clinic. For the most part this will be the first look these students have had at the critical thinking required to be successful in this area of dental office design and the interior design profession in general.
