At the Trade Show…
Attending trade shows always affords an opportunity to meet with colleagues and to learn all the new things going on in an industry. This year’s Indiana Dental Association annual convention was no exception. Celebrating 150 years, the IDA annual convention and trade show was held over the weekend at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. This year I partnered with Bradford Systems (www.BradfordSystems.com) to work a booth at the trade show where I got to meet several new dentists and hygienists just finishing up their degree programs, along with practicing and retired dentists checking out the latest trends.
The highlight of the show was the Thursday evening cocktail reception and party. The folks at the IDA really know how to put on a great party! This informal gathering really gave attendees a chance to mix and mingle without the formality of standing in a booth.
